Adding or editing a metadata field

You can add a metadata field that is mapped to a search field to make the asset indexed and searchable as though it were from the ILS. All of the limits and targets applied to the search field are applied to the data entered for the asset in that search field.

To add or edit a metadata field

Choose Assets from the navigation pane.

Choose Configure Asset Management.

The Configure Asset Management page displays a menu of options. For more information, see Fields: Metadata Fields.

Do one of the following:

Choose Add Metadata Field.

•

Choose Edit for the metadata field you want to modify.

Choose or modify the settings as needed. For more information, see Fields: Add/Edit Metadata Field.

When you have finished, choose OK.
